On 11 December 2005 a report and research meeting of the Polsih Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, the president of which is Malgorzata Kolenda, took place in the Kolasinski Clinic. At the meeting its members were awarded with membership certificates. Moreover, during one-year-long presidency of Dr Kolenda the Society was present at an international forum three times, i.e. twice during the international conference of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery in Vancouver and in Sydney. Then, it was Dr Kolasinski who spoke on behalf of the Polish Society. Furthermore, at the beginning of 2005 a short note concerning the activities of the Society was published in the Hair Forum magazine edited by the International Society.
During the December meeting a few papers were presented. Mrs Kolenda made a statistic summary concerning hair restoration surgeries performed in the world in 2005, whereas, Mr Kolasinski presented the results of his preliminary experiments in taking hair transplants from the occiput region by means of the device designed by him. While the memebers of the Society were summarizing the passing year, Dr Kolenda was devicing further plans concerning the activity of the Society during the next year of her presidency.
