From 18th to 20th of June 2004 the eight Congress of the Turkish Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery took place in Istanbul. In exclusive rooms of the Ritz-Carlton hotel the latest achievements in the surgery improving human appearance were discussed for three days. Jerzy Kolasiński, M.D., was among five guests asked to deliver some speeches. His first speech was on reconstructive surgery of hair, the second one on abdominal corrections. A huge experience of the whole team of our clinic allowed to create our own methods of corrective surgeries of either various kinds of baldness or deformation of abdominal folds. Both papers by Kolasiński aroused enormous interest among the participants of the congress. Also numerous examples of Turkish hospitality appeared to be a great advantage of the congress and allowed to collect some very nice memories from the stay in Istanbul.
