10th Congress of the Polish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery was held on October 7-8 2005 in Wisła. The prominent plastic surgeons from Poland debated in spacious rooms of the Gołębiewski Hotel. The program of the Congress was dominated by the issues connected with Reconstructive Surgery. Significantly less lectures were deveoted to Aesthetic Surgery. Nevertheless, a greater interest in this filed of medicine could be noticed in medical equipment. The Congress does not mean only debates, but also numerous meetings of the surgeons from the entire Poland, who specialize in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, as well as talks behind the scenes. The representatives of our Clinic, namely Jerzy Kolasiński, M.D., and Małgorzata Kolenda, M.D., could not miss this opportunity and participated in the Congress, too, since we pay a lot of attention to stay in regular contact with both the latest surgery knowledge of this discipline and the environment of plastic surgeons from our country.
