In brief, 18th Annual Scientific Meeting of the world’s biggest medical society dealing with hair restoration (ISHRS) can be defined as a record-breaking one in terms of the number of participants, the abundance of discussed topics and the multitude of social meetings. Boston, Massachusetts, in the USA was a meeting spot for all those who are prominent specialists in hair restoration surgery. The meeting was abundant in interesting lectures, fierce discussions and unofficial talks, and as usual it provided an excellent opportunity for the Board to meet together and specify the direction of further development for the following year. Also, Dr Jerzy Kolasiński took part in the Board meeting. It is already his second term in office as a board member in these difficult times of the world economic crisis. Today, we can surely say that the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery has not only survived this turbulent period, but it continues developing rapidly, setting the directions for the contemporary hair restoration surgery.
